About Noosa & Sunshine Coast

Discover a paradise of pristine beaches, a stunning national park, and the tranquil Noosa Everglades, one of only two in the world. Kayak through the "river of mirrors", hike the coastal track for breathtaking views and koala spotting.

Noosa is one of Australia's most beautiful coastal towns and the home base of Dundee Adventure Travel. Located on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Noosa offers a rare combination of pristine beaches, national park wilderness, and one of only two Everglades systems in the world — all within a relaxed, upscale beach-town atmosphere.

Noosa National Park is the jewel of the Sunshine Coast. The coastal walking track winds through headlands and hidden coves, offering some of the best koala spotting on the East Coast. Fairy Pools, Tea Tree Bay, and Hell's Gates are all accessible along the trail. During winter months, you can spot humpback whales from the lookout points.

The Noosa Everglades is a hidden gem that most tourists miss. Kayak through the "river of mirrors" — a pristine waterway surrounded by untouched bushland where the water is so still it perfectly reflects the sky. It's one of the most peaceful experiences in Australia and completely unique to this region.

Noosa Main Beach is one of the few north-facing beaches in Queensland, making it perfectly sheltered and ideal for swimming. Hastings Street runs right alongside it with cafes, boutiques, and restaurants. The surf break at First Point is one of the best longboard waves in Australia.

As the Dundee Adventure home town, our team knows Noosa inside and out. We offer Everglades kayaking tours, guided national park walks, and use Noosa as the departure point for K'gari (Fraser Island) tours. It's also a perfect stop for a rest day between adventure-packed destinations on your East Coast journey.
