Good to know

How do the travel days work?
A travel day is any day you hop on a Greyhound coach. With a hop-on hop-off pass you can break your journey as many times as you like — your days only tick down on the days you actually travel, so you can stay in a spot for as long as you want.
East Coast vs National — which do I need?
The East Coast pass covers the classic Sydney to Cairns backpacker trail. The National pass adds the rest of the Greyhound network (the Red Centre, Darwin, the Outback and more). If you’re sticking to the East Coast, the East Coast pass is the better value.
When does my pass start?
You tell us your preferred travel start date at checkout. Most East Coast passes are valid for a set period from your first day of travel — we’ll confirm the details when we issue your pass.
How do I get my pass after paying?
You pay securely online first, then our team issues your Greyhound pass and emails it straight to you. If we need anything else we’ll be in touch on the email or phone number you provide.
