K'gari Experience — 4 Day / 3 Night Tour

Four days gives you the full K'gari experience without the extra resort night — two days of proper 4WD touring across the island plus comfortable resort stays at both Kingfisher Bay and K'gari Beach Resort.

The touring covers every major attraction on the island. Lake McKenzie's impossibly clear water and white silica sand is the postcard shot, but you'll also reach spots like Lake Wabby (where a sand blow is slowly overtaking a green lake — unlike anything you'll see elsewhere), the towering satinay trees at Pile Valley, the Champagne Pools, and the rusted hulk of the SS Maheno shipwreck halfway down 75 Mile Beach.

Your guide drives an air-conditioned 4WD coach and knows the island inside out — the ecology, the dingo behaviour, the hidden swimming holes that aren't in the brochures. You'll spend one night at K'gari Beach Resort right on the ocean-facing coast and two nights at the award-winning Kingfisher Bay Resort on the western bay.

Kingfisher Bay has real facilities — pool, restaurants, bars, and optional extras like spa treatments, bush tucker sessions, whale watching (August-October) and sunset eco cruises. You can go all-in on activities or just sit by the pool with a drink after the touring days.

Meals on touring days are covered (breakfast and lunch), ferry transfers are included, and national park fees are sorted. This is the most popular duration — long enough to see everything, short enough to fit around a wider East Coast trip.
