Surf Progressive Course

Settle into the warm water at Noosa and learn to surf in one of the easiest, most inviting spots on the coast. With waist-deep waves, soft boards and plenty of room to practise, this course is built for beginners, families and anyone keen to feel that first proper glide across the water. You’ll be coached by qualified lifeguards who know how to keep things safe, relaxed and fun while giving you real technique you can build on.

Choose the quick 2-hour Surf Experience if you want to stand up and have a crack, or go further with the 3-part progressive Surf Course, backed by 12 online theory modules to help you understand the ocean and sharpen your skills between sessions. From the first pop-up to reading the waves with a bit more confidence, this is the kind of lesson that leaves you grinning, salty-haired and keen for the next session. Know before you go: - Please arrive 15 minutes before your lesson starts so you can be fitted with the correct wetsuit and surfboard. - The meeting point is Beach Access No. 11 car park with Go Ride A Wave Noosa. - Lessons are suitable for children aged 7 and up and adults of all skill levels. - Children under 9 years old must have a parent in the water with them. - You’ll learn in waist-deep water where you can stand, and no minimum swimming ability is required. - If you have a special need or are unsure whether a group lesson is right for you, contact the operator about a private lesson option.
