About Uluru Tours
Uluru is Australia's most iconic landmark — a 348-metre-high sandstone monolith that rises dramatically from the flat red desert of the Northern Territory. Watching the sunrise or sunset paint Uluru in impossible shades of red, orange, and purple is a spiritual experience that stays with you forever.
Dundee Adventure's Uluru tours offer the complete Red Centre experience. Our 3-day and 5-day tours departing from Alice Springs cover Uluru, Kata Tjuta (the Olgas — 36 massive red rock domes), Kings Canyon (with its incredible rim walk through the "Garden of Eden"), and the MacDonnell Ranges.
Every tour includes Uluru sunrise and sunset viewing, the Kata Tjuta Valley of the Winds walk, Aboriginal cultural experiences including Dreamtime stories and traditional art demonstrations, and the famous outback BBQ dinner under a canopy of stars. The stargazing in the Red Centre is world-class — with zero light pollution, the Milky Way is so bright it casts shadows.
Accommodation options range from outback camping (swags under the stars — the authentic outback experience) to comfortable lodge rooms. All tours include meals, experienced guides, 4WD transport, and national park fees.
Uluru tours run year-round, though the most comfortable temperatures are April to October (winter/spring). Summer tours (November to March) offer spectacular thunderstorm skies but temperatures can exceed 40°C.
