Long drives, worth it

A fair bit of driving in the Red Centre but the scenery and the guide's stories kept it interesting. Kings Canyon rim walk was a highlight.

The Red Centre delivered

Uluru is even more powerful in person. The base walk, the Field of Light and the outback sunsets were all incredible. A proper bucket-list trip.

Magic scenery, hot days

The desert heat is real so bring water, but Uluru and Kata Tjuta are unmissable. Sunset with a glass of bubbles was a highlight. Great guide.

Once in a lifetime

Sunrise over Uluru, walking the base, learning the Dreamtime stories — deeply moving. The swag camping added to the whole outback experience.

Uluru at sunrise is spiritual

Watching the rock change colour as the sun came up gave me goosebumps. Kata Tjuta was just as stunning. Our guide shared amazing Anangu culture.

Field of Light was magical

Uluru by day, then thousands of lights glowing in the desert at night. Add the cultural stories from our guide and it was unforgettable.

This unique adventure brings you face-to-face with nature’s wonders, from crystal-clear waterholes to rugged gorges, all set against the backdrop of ancient Aboriginal culture and Dreamtime stories. Your first stop is Simpsons Gap, a peaceful oasis where a permanent waterhole attracts a wide variety of native wildlife, including the elusive rock wallaby. This sacred site, rich in cultural history, provides the perfect setting to experience the true essence of the Outback while observing the area’s unique flora and fauna. Continue on to Ellery Creek Big Hole (Udepata), one of the region’s most stunning waterholes. Surrounded by majestic red cliffs and sandy creek beds, you’ll have the chance to swim in the cool, crystal-clear waters, while keeping an eye out for local wildlife. A delicious picnic lunch in this tranquil environment will allow you to fully take in the serenity of the landscape. The Ochre Pits provide a fascinating glimpse into the region’s cultural heritage. These vibrant, mineral-rich cliffs have been used for thousands of years by Aboriginal people for ceremonial ochre. The rich colours of the cliffs, ranging from yellows to deep reds, highlight the ancient connection between nature and culture in this remarkable area. End your adventure at Ormiston Gorge, where towering rock formations and winding trails invite exploration. The stunning geological features are a haven for native wildlife and provide dramatic views over the surrounding landscape, offering a perfect opportunity to connect with the raw beauty of the Outback.
