South West Loop

Set off from Perth and spend 10 days tracing one of Western Australia’s most spectacular loops, from wild coastline and towering forests to wine country, coral-coloured bays and the outback-famous Wave Rock. This isn’t a fixed tour bus experience — it’s a shared minibus adventure, where you and your travel crew split the driving, cooking and camping, and shape the journey as you go.

Along the way, you’ll wander through biodiverse south-west forests, feel the salt spray at the beach, and make time for a few well-earned tastings in one of Australia’s great food and wine regions. Expect close-up wildlife moments, swims, snorkels, hikes and big nights under the stars. It’s a social, budget-friendly way to see an incredible slice of WA, with the comfort of having the vehicle, camping gear and route essentials already sorted. Know before you go: - This is a shared rental, not a guided coach tour, so you’ll travel with other backpackers and help out with driving, cooking and camp setup. - The trip runs for 10 days, with fixed start and end dates, but the route and daily stops can be adjusted within the suggested loop. - Expect a no-frills camping style: you’ll be setting up your own tent and sharing sleeping space with 1–2 other travellers. - The target age group is 18–35, and the trip is designed to be social and active. - Bring personal clothing, toiletries, swimwear, closed-toe shoes and a torch, plus anything else you’d like for life on the road. - Recommended free and low-cost camps are provided, along with activity ideas, so you can keep costs down while still getting the most out of the trip.
