Lovely experience
Had a really nice time. The scenery was breathtaking and our guide was knowledgeable. Lunch options could have been better but overall well worth it.

Absolutely epic!
This was hands-down the best activity we did on our Queensland trip. The team were legends and the experience was world-class.

Okay experience
The activity itself was fun but the organisation left a bit to be desired. Bus was late, lunch was average. The actual experience made up for it somewhat.

Worth the money
Good experience overall. The booking was easy and the activity was fun. Would have liked slightly smaller groups but the guides managed well.

About Katherine Gorge Cruise & Edith Falls Day Trip
Operated by Wildlife Tours Australia · 13 Hours, 30 Minutes · Darwin, NT
Set off on an unforgettable adventure to one of the Top End’s most breathtaking natural gems — Nitmiluk National Park! Starting bright and early from tropical Darwin, we’ll journey south along the legendary Stuart Highway, passing through charming historic towns like Adelaide River or Pine Creek before arriving in the welcoming town of Katherine. Along the way, get ready to be amazed by the unique plants and wildlife found only here in the Northern Territory. Sit back, relax, and soak in the stunning scenery while your expert guide shares captivating stories about the area’s rich history and culture. The highlight? The spectacular NitNit Dreaming boat cruise through the iconic Katherine Gorge (Nitmiluk). For nature lovers and thrill seekers alike, this two-hour cruise is a must! Drift through a dramatic canyon framed by towering cliffs soaring 70 meters high, bathed in ever-changing hues as sunlight dances on the rock faces. This magical gorge is cared for by the Jawoyn people, the traditional custodians whose deep spiritual bond with the land will bring the landscape to life in ways you’ll never forget. Next up is a visit to the tranquil Edith Falls (Leliyn), tucked away in the heart of the park. Depending on the timing, we’ll visit Edith Falls either before or after the boat cruise. Dive into the refreshing natural plunge pool for a cool, invigorating swim, or simply unwind by the water’s edge and let the peaceful vibes wash over you. After recharging at Edith Falls, we’ll head back toward Darwin, retracing our route through Pine Creek or Adelaide River. Reflect on the day’s incredible sights and stories as you journey home, carrying with you the unforgettable spirit of Nitmiluk National Park — a place where wild beauty and rich culture come together in perfect harmony.
