Whale Watching - Ballina Departure

Set out from Ballina and head straight into the rich waters of Cape Byron Marine Park, where humpback whales make their annual coastal migration. From May to November, you’ll cruise along some of the most beautiful shoreline on the east coast, watching for breaches, tail slaps, and the kind of close-up encounters that make everyone on board go quiet for a moment.

Know before you go: - Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled departure for boarding. - A quick pre-arrival waiver must be completed before the day of your cruise. - All children must be accompanied by an adult, and the minimum age for ocean cruising is 5 years. - This experience is not suitable for pregnant travellers or guests with neck, back, or spine injuries or conditions. - Byron Bay does not have a jetty or marina, so departures are from Ballina; shuttle transfers may be available separately. - Cruise times can change due to ocean conditions, so keep your phone handy for updates or cancellations.
