Whitsundays did not disappoint

From Hill Inlet lookout to the coral gardens, every stop was jaw-dropping. Skipper and hostess were absolute legends. Highly recommend.

Whitehaven Beach is heaven

Sailing the Whitsundays was the best part of my whole trip. Whitehaven's white sand is unreal and snorkelling straight off the boat was incredible.

Best two days of the trip

The catamaran was comfy, the food was great and the crew made it so much fun. Whitehaven Beach genuinely looks Photoshopped in real life.

Whitehaven took my breath away

The lookout over Hill Inlet is the best view in Australia. Add in snorkelling, good food and a fun crew and it was a perfect couple of days.

Stunning islands, tight bunks

The sailing and snorkelling were world-class and the crew were legends. Bunks are snug as expected on a boat but that is part of the fun.

Met the best people

Such a fun social trip — sailing between islands, snorkelling the fringing reef and swapping stories on deck. The skipper knew all the best spots.

About Blizzard 4 Day 3 Night Whitsundays Sailing

Operated by Whitsunday Sailing Adventures · 4 Days · Airlie Beach, QLD

Four days is the longest sailing trip in the Whitsundays — and Blizzard makes the most of every one of them. This is for people who want to properly explore the islands rather than tick a box.

Blizzard is a Beneteau 50 performance yacht — fast under sail, spacious on deck, genuinely comfortable below. The design is modern: bright interiors, wide cockpit, and enough room to not feel cramped even after four days. She sails beautifully, and the crew will teach you the basics if you're interested (or leave you in peace with a book if you're not).

Four days means you visit more islands, snorkel more reefs, and spend longer at each stop than any other trip in the Whitsundays. Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet are guaranteed, but you'll also anchor in bays around Hook, Hayman, Border, Langford and Dumbbell Islands depending on conditions. The crew reads the weather and adjusts the route daily — no two trips are identical, which keeps things interesting.

Snorkelling here is excellent even without a reef trip — the fringing coral around the islands supports parrotfish, batfish, giant clams, cuttlefish and the occasional turtle. Gear and stinger suits are provided.

All meals are freshly cooked on board and included. BYO drinks. The evenings at anchor are the highlight for most people — sunset over the islands, dinner on deck, stars reflected in flat calm water.

This is Blizzard's most popular option with couples and travellers who have the time to do the Whitsundays properly. Ages 18+ only.
