Settle into four nights at a purpose-built surf camp just metres from the beach, where your days quickly find their rhythm: surf, eat, rest, repeat. On this 5-day escape from Sydney, you’ll learn from local instructors in a relaxed coastal setting, with plenty of time in the water to build confidence and get comfortable on a board. Whether you’re a complete beginner or just brushing up, the course is designed to have you popping up, paddling out and reading the waves with a lot more know-how by the end of the week.

When you’re not chasing waves, you’ll be living the easygoing surf-camp life with pool time, hot showers, hammocks and healthy meals all taken care of. Expect warm wetsuits, beginner-friendly boards and a friendly crew around you from the moment you arrive. Know before you go: - Check-in is at 8:45am for a 9:00am departure from Wake Up Hostel Sydney. - If you’re driving yourself, plan to arrive at the camp around 11:30am instead. - Return transport is included, with arrival back in Sydney expected around 5:00pm to 6:00pm on Friday. - Bring swimwear, a towel, sun protection, casual clothes and anything you like for relaxing at camp. - Private or double room upgrades may be available, but must be requested when booking. - In shoulder seasons, transport may operate by train rather than bus.
