You’ll leave Sydney behind and head for a purpose-built surf camp where the beach is basically your front yard. With daily lessons on learner-friendly waves, you’ll spend your days popping up on the board, feeling the salt spray on your face and getting a proper taste for surf life, all with a laid-back crew around you.

When you’re not in the water, the camp takes care of the rest. Think buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners, comfy beachside accommodation, and plenty of time to kick back after a big day in the swell. You can gather around the fire with a drink, head to bed early, or stay up socialising with your new mates. There’s also more to explore if you’re keen, from kayaking and volleyball to rock pools, kangaroo golf, and spotting dolphins or whales offshore.
