Humpback Whale Safari

Set out from Coral Bay for a full-day marine safari that blends reef snorkelling, open-ocean whale watching and, when conditions allow, the chance to slip into the water for a close encounter with humpback whales. You’ll start the day exploring the Ningaloo Reef, where turtles, reef sharks, stingrays and schools of tropical fish are often part of the show, before heading offshore to look for these migrating giants.

If your skipper and in-water guide decide conditions are safe, you’ll join a small group for a supervised swim with the whales at a respectful distance, always on the animals’ terms. Spotter plane and drone support helps the crew locate whales and assess calf sizes before any water entry. After your time with the humpbacks, you’ll head back inside the reef for lunch and a final snorkel, then ease into the return to jetty with champagne and fresh fruit to wrap up the day in style.
