Unspoilt paradise

The West coast feels wild and untouched. Snorkelling the reef and exploring the gorges were highlights. A proper adventure off the beaten track.

Ningaloo blew me away

Snorkelling straight off the beach with turtles and reef fish, then whale sharks out wide. WA's coast is criminally underrated. Incredible trip.

WA coast is magic

Turquoise water, white beaches and hardly a soul around. From Exmouth to the gorges, every stop was stunning. Fantastic guide and group.

Swam with a whale shark!

Bucket-list ticked — swimming alongside a whale shark at Ningaloo was surreal. The crew were professional and the whole day was seamless.

Remote and beautiful

Long drives through the outback but the reward is empty beaches and world-class snorkelling. Ningaloo is every bit as good as they say.

About Dampier Pensinsula Coach Full Day Tour

Operated by Australian Pinnacle Tours · 8 Hours · Broome, WA

Set out from Broome and follow the Cape Leveque Road north into the wide, rugged country of the Dampier Peninsula. As the sealed road gives way to dusty stretches and red dirt, you’ll feel the landscape open up around you — all sky, coastline and ancient Country. Along the way, there’s time to pause at Beagle Bay for morning tea and a look at the famous Shell Church, a striking local landmark with a story worth stopping for.

From there, you’ll continue to Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, perched on the tip of the peninsula and steeped in pearling history. Enjoy a chef-prepared lunch before joining a guided farm tour and visiting the showroom to see some of Australia’s finest South Sea pearls up close. Later, head to One Arm Point / Ardyaloon, where sweeping views over the Buccaneer Archipelago meet rich Bardi Jawi culture, a trochus hatchery and local art for sale. If Lombadina is open, you may also visit that community on the way back. It’s a day full of salt-air scenery, cultural connection and genuinely memorable stops — the kind of experience that stays with you long after you’re back in Broome.

Know before you go: - Bring comfortable clothing, closed-toe shoes and a hat, as you’ll be travelling on some unsealed roads. - Pack sunscreen, sunglasses and a water bottle to stay comfortable through the day. - Carry cash if you’d like to buy local art, artefacts or make a donation at the Shell Church. - The optional scenic flight must be booked in advance and is not part of the coach tour. - If Lombadina is open, the extra community visit is subject to community permission on the day. - Hotel drop-off in Broome is included, with return arrival expected at about 6:30 pm.
