Day 1: Depart Airlie Beach – set sail across the Whitsundays. Afternoon snorkel stop before anchoring for a sunset platter & hearty dinner under the stars.
Day 2: Wake up in paradise! Visit Whitehaven Beach & Hill Inlet Lookout, snorkel vibrant fringing reefs, enjoy beach time and adventure sailing before another delicious dinner with your new mates.
Day 3: Morning swim or snorkel before cruising back to Airlie Beach. Enjoy breakfast on deck as you soak up the last of paradise views.

1. Who is this trip best suited for?
Broomstick is ideal for young travellers, backpackers, couples, and adults seeking a social sailing adventure with a mix of excitement and relaxation.
2. Do I need any sailing experience?
Not at all! Your professional crew will do the hard work – though you’re welcome to help hoist the sails if you’d like a true maxi sailing experience.
3. What type of accommodation is onboard?
Shared dorm-style cabins and berths with fans, bedding, and pillows provided. Yoga mats are available if you’d like to sleep under the stars on deck.
4. Are meals included?
Yes – all meals, snacks, and desserts are included (breakfast x2, lunch x1, dinner x2). Dietary needs are catered for at no extra cost – please advise when booking.
5. Can I bring my own drinks?
Yes – BYO alcohol and soft drinks. Please no glass bottles or red wine.
6. What fitness level is required?
Only a basic level of fitness. Some short bushwalks (e.g. to Hill Inlet Lookout) and snorkelling activities are optional but recommended.
7. Will I get seasick?
The Whitsundays are generally calm, but if you’re prone to seasickness, we recommend bringing travel sickness tablets just in case.
8. How many people will be on the trip?
Broomstick carries between 10 and 25 guests plus 3 crew.
9. What if the weather is bad?
Itineraries may be adjusted to suit weather conditions. Tours still operate in light rain – it’s part of the adventure!
10. How eco-friendly is this tour?
Prosail offsets 100% of emissions by planting 20 trees per tour, and all activities follow strict eco-guidelines for the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.

Check-in: All passengers must check in at the Prosail office in Airlie Beach before departure (details provided in your booking confirmation).
Age limit: 18+ only. This is an adult social sailing trip.
Baggage: Please bring a small soft bag only (no suitcases). Larger luggage can be stored at most accommodations in Airlie Beach.
BYO drinks: Guests may bring their own alcohol and soft drinks (no glass bottles or red wine). Ice and eskies are provided onboard.
Travel insurance: Strongly recommended for all travellers. Dundee Adventure Travel and Prosail Whitsundays are not liable for personal injury, property damage, lost items, or travel interruptions.
Dietary requirements: Special diets must be advised at time of booking. While most needs are catered for, alternatives for desserts (which may contain gluten/dairy) are limited.
Weather & itinerary: The itinerary is subject to weather, tides, and Marine Park regulations. Prosail reserves the right to make changes to ensure guest safety and the best possible experience.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made 31 days or more prior to departure – refund minus $50 admin fee.
Cancellations made 15–30 days prior – 50% of fare refunded.
Cancellations made within 14 days – no refund.
No-shows or late arrivals – no refund.
