Langports × Dundee Adventure
Student terms & refund policy
Plans can change. We’ll help you understand your options and speak with your tour operator. Dundee acts as your booking agent; the supplier operates your activity.
No additional Dundee cancellation or administration fees for Langports bookings.
Supplier cancellation charges, amendment fees, deadlines and refund conditions still apply. We cannot waive them or promise a refund or date change that the supplier has not approved. Your statutory consumer rights always remain protected.
1. Which terms apply?
This policy applies to activities booked through the Langports student hub or with a Langports campus offer. For these bookings, it replaces Dundee’s own cancellation and administration fees and blanket refund restrictions in our general terms. In particular, Dundee’s general 30% cancellation fee, 15% administration fee and automatic no-refund rule within 7 days do not apply. Dundee’s blanket non-refundable restrictions do not apply either; the supplier’s applicable conditions determine refund eligibility, subject to law. Other general booking terms remain applicable only to the extent they are consistent with this policy and your statutory rights. Non-Langports bookings retain their existing terms.
2. Before you book
Read the supplier conditions for your exact activity and option below, including cancellation deadlines, reconfirmation, age, health, safety and attendance requirements. Your place is confirmed only when payment and operator confirmation are both complete. A payment receipt alone does not confirm a place. The hub’s booking closing time is not a free-cancellation deadline.
Prices are in AUD and the final price is shown before payment. Extra costs identified as payable on the day are paid to the operator, not collected again online. Sharing one jet ski means one paying customer books one ski; students split any shared cost privately. Supplier rider and safety requirements still apply.
3. If you cancel or want to change your booking
Contact Dundee as early as possible with your booking reference, activity, travel date and requested change. Supplier charges may depend on how much notice they receive, and may be up to the full booking price where their conditions say so. A change of date, name or participant is subject to supplier approval and availability; a fare difference or supplier amendment charge may apply. We’ll explain any confirmed cost before you agree to a change.
Illness, missed transport, late arrival, no-shows or a change of plans do not automatically qualify for a refund. We can ask the supplier for an exception, but cannot guarantee one. Contacting us does not itself confirm a cancellation or date change: ask for written confirmation and, if departure is imminent, also use the operator’s contact instructions on your voucher.
4. If the supplier cancels or the weather changes
Weather, safety concerns or minimum participant numbers may affect an activity. A refund, alternative date or credit depends on the circumstances, the supplier’s applicable conditions and your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Do not assume an activity is cancelled because it is raining; follow the operator’s instructions. Dundee will help you understand the options and will not add its own cancellation or administration fee.
5. How refunds are handled
Where a refund is due, we’ll confirm the amount and any applicable supplier deductions in writing. Refunds relate to the amount you actually paid, not the advertised full retail price. We will not deduct an additional Dundee cancellation or administration fee. Refunds are normally returned to the original payment method; we’ll confirm any necessary alternative with you. Processing time depends on the supplier and payment provider, so we’ll advise the expected timeframe rather than promise an unconfirmed date.
For a shared jet ski, any booking refund goes to the paying customer’s payment method, not separately to each student. Private cost-sharing arrangements remain between the students.
6. Your consumer rights & travel insurance
Nothing in this policy or any supplier condition excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. A supplier refusal does not remove a refund or other remedy you are legally entitled to. Dundee remains responsible for its own obligations as a booking agent. Travel insurance is recommended for eligible cancellation, medical and disruption costs; cover depends on your insurer and policy.
Read your supplier’s conditions
Choose the exact activity or duration. These are the current customer-facing conditions supplied through our booking system, not a Dundee-written replacement. Conditions applicable when you booked govern your booking; keep your confirmation and a copy of the terms provided then.
