Surf Adventure Itinerary

Depart from Sydney on Monday at 9am Spend Monday to Friday learning the essentials and improving your surfing at 7-Mile Beach Gerroa Enjoy Side Bar on Friday night with your new surf mates before boarding an express overnight coach to Byron Bay. Unlimited use of our surfing equipment is supplied in Byron Bay. Put your new found skills to the test! Trip finishes in Byron Bay on Sunday afternoon.

Surfing Lessons

Our 5-day progressive surf course at Surf Camp will have you well prepared for the waves in Byron. This course includes surfing lessons Monday – Friday and is designed for absolute beginners to intermediate surfers. We teach paddling, standing up, dropping into waves, trimming and turning. Plus surf etiquette , Ocean knowledge & board design. Please note: Board hire only in Byron Bay – No lessons

Accommodation

Spend 4 nights in our purpose bulit Surf Camp, only meters from the beach. Here, you’ll live a laid-back surfer’s lifestyle with your surf instructors. Our Surf Camp accommodation is fit with a swimming pool, hot showers, hammocks, internet, laundry and a cafe close by. Rooms are 6-7 berth. Upgrades to a private/double room can be requested at the time of booking. After your time at camp, you’ll spend 2 days and 1 night surfing and partying in Byron Bay. Wake Up Hostel Byron Bay is right next to the beach. Facilities include self-contained kitchen, swimming pool, internet, TV, games room and more.

Meals

All meals are included Monday- Friday @ Surf Camp. We know that surfing makes you hungry, and we provide plentiful, tasty and healthy meals to meet your appetite. Vegetarian and Vegan options are also available. For any other special dietary requests, please contact us before booking. Please note: One breakfast and one dinner is provided in Byron Bay.

Surf Gear

At Surf Camp you will use our warm and comfortable Rip Curl wetsuits and custom designed beginner softboards. All equipment is current technology and in excellent condition. A full range of wetsuit and surfboard sizes are available. SPF 30+ water resistant sunscreen is also provided. Byron Bay board hire is included. You can even test your new skills with a selection of hardboards !

Transport

Transportation via bus or train is provided for all of your travel Sydney -> Surf Camp -> Byron Bay. Trip finishes in Byron Bay. Please Note: Travel to Byron bay is overnight Friday Nigh

Nightlife

Enjoy a drink over the sunset at the local pub with ocean views, up the road from Surf Camp. Byron Bay is a haven for young travelers, popular for its vibrant nightlife. The accommodation is only a short walk from local pubs, bars and clubs. There is always plenty of quiet space for those looking for a chilled-out experience. The daily photos and videos always make for an entertaining evening.
