Dundee Adventure Travel | Sunset Safaris | Moreton Island “Get Wrecked” Tangalooma Wrecks Day Tour (From Brisbane)

Tour Description

Escape the city for a full-day adventure to Moreton Island on the iconic “Get Wrecked” tour from Brisbane. Start with a scenic ferry ride across Moreton Bay before arriving at one of the world’s largest sand islands, home to the famous Tangalooma Wrecks and endless white-sand beaches.

Your guide will lead you on a fully equipped snorkelling tour around the shipwrecks, where you can spot turtles, colourful reef fish and, if you’re lucky, dolphins or rays. Then jump into a transparent kayak and glide over the crystal-clear water for a completely different view of the wrecks and marine life (conditions permitting).

In the afternoon, swap the water for sand as you head off-road by 4WD to “The Desert” – a natural sand playground where you’ll race down giant dunes on a sandboard at speeds of up to 70 km/h. With all gear, lunch and return Brisbane transfers included, this is the easiest and most action-packed way to experience Moreton Island in one day.
