1: Can young kids join the balloon flight?
Yes, from age 3+. Ages 3-12 must be accompanied by an adult. Ages 13-17 can fly solo but must have a guardian on tour.
2: What if the weather is bad?
Ballooning may be canceled for safety reasons. iFLY will still go ahead; if you cancel ballooning, $69pp will be deducted from your refund.
3: Are there health or physical requirements?
You must be able to climb a 1.2m ladder and stand during the flight. Not suitable for pregnant passengers or those with recent diving activities.
Minimum age: 3 years old for ballooning, 3+ for iFLY
Children 3-12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
Ages 13-17 can fly solo but require a responsible adult on the tour
Must be able to climb into balloon basket (1.2m ladder) and stand for the duration
Not suitable for pregnant women or those who scuba dived in the last 24 hrs
Please consult your doctor if you have medical conditions or mobility issues
No participation allowed under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing medications
Handbags and backpacks not allowed on balloon
