This Waltzing Matilda Whitsunday experience is designed for travellers who want more than a quick snapshot. With a small group of just 8–15 guests, you’ll enjoy a relaxed, social vibe as you cruise through turquoise waters, snorkel vibrant coral reefs and walk the swirling silica sands of world-famous Whitehaven Beach. From bushwalking to the Hill Inlet lookout to sunset sailing with new mates on deck, every moment feels immersive and unrushed.
Onboard, life is easy. Fresh meals are prepared daily using local produce, including a classic Aussie BBQ. You’ll sleep under the stars in comfortable cabins, wake to ocean views and, if you’re keen, even help hoist the sails or take the helm for a true hands-on sailing experience.
Depart Airlie Beach and set sail through the Whitsundays. Snorkel vibrant coral reefs around Hook Passage or Border Island, enjoy a freshly prepared lunch, then dive again at Peter’s Bay. As the sun sets, relax on deck, share stories and enjoy dinner onboard.
Wake to island views and sail to Hill Inlet for a guided walk to the iconic lookout. Spend time on Whitehaven Beach before a final snorkel stop on the return sail. Arrive back in Airlie Beach by approximately 4:00 pm.
