A tag-along tour is an organised convoy where the lead 4WD is driven by the guide and the following vehicles are driven by guests who nominate to drive. You don’t need off-road experience—drivers receive a thorough safety briefing and guidance throughout the trip. If you’re under the driving age/requirements, you can still join as a passenger and experience the full K’gari adventure.
Can I drive on this K’gari 4WD tag along tour?
Driving is optional. Guests who want to drive must meet the operator’s licence requirements and attend the 7:30am safety briefing. If you don’t want to drive, you’re welcome to join as a passenger.
