Refund Policy (Online Purchases)

This Refund Policy applies to tours, experiences, vouchers, gift cards and other products purchased through the Dundee Adventure Travel website (“Online Purchases”).

Dundee Adventure Travel (“we”, “us”, “our”) acts as an intermediary and books products with third-party Service Providers. Service Provider Terms & Conditions also apply to your booking and may affect cancellations and refunds.

Vouchers, tickets & booking status

  • Open-dated vouchers/tickets: A date must be booked in advance with the Service Provider (as shown on your voucher). Availability is subject to the Service Provider and is not guaranteed by us.
  • Fixed-date tickets: Tickets must be redeemed on the booked date. If you need to change a date, you must contact the Service Provider directly and provide sufficient notice.

Customer-initiated cancellations (cancellation fees apply)

If you cancel an Online Purchase, the following applies:

  • A 10% cancellation fee applies to all cancellations initiated by the customer.
  • Additional fees charged by the Service Provider may apply and may result in total fees of up to 100% of the booking value.
  • For some tours and experiences, cancellations made within 7 days of departure may be non-refundable. This depends on the Service Provider’s cancellation policy for your booking.
  • Transport and accommodation components are often non-refundable once confirmed, unless the Service Provider states otherwise.

Change of mind & personal circumstances

In line with Service Provider policies, refunds may be limited or unavailable in certain situations, including (but not limited to):

  • Change of mind or personal circumstances
  • Travel delays, missed connections, or failure to attend (including oversleeping)
  • Force majeure events (e.g. natural disasters, pandemics, or health-related issues), unless covered by your travel insurance or the Service Provider’s policy


Where a refund is possible, it will be assessed in accordance with the relevant Service Provider’s Terms & Conditions and any costs already incurred.

If we cancel a service

If we cancel a service due to unforeseen circumstances, we will endeavour to offer an alternative of equal value. If no alternative is available, we will issue a refund less a 10% administration fee, contingent on the amount refunded to us by the Service Provider.

Natural disasters & travel restrictions

Refunds for cancellations due to natural disasters, pandemics, or government-imposed travel restrictions will be subject to a 30% administrative fee, in addition to any fees charged by the Service Provider.

Refund method & processing times

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used.
  • Cash payments will be refunded via bank transfer.
  • Refunds may take up to 30 days to process.

Fees

  • Deposits or partial payments are non-refundable and non-transferable unless explicitly stated otherwise.
  • Credit card fees are non-refundable (2.2% in-store, 3.5% online).

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and unforeseen travel disruptions.
